Time to Make Memories — Gallery Remarque Edition by Sam Toft
Mr Mustard, the good lady Violet, and Doris take a gentle stroll beneath a canopy of cherry blossom — unhurried, content, and very much in their own world. It is one of those Sam Toft scenes that feels like a quiet reminder of what matters most.
This is a Gallery Remarque — created exclusively for The Braithwaite Gallery by Sam Toft herself. Each remarque features an original illustration hand-drawn by Sam in the white border area adjacent to the title. Every one is completely different, making this a truly one-of-a-kind piece that cannot be found anywhere else.
Edition Details
This is Artist's Proof number 2 of 40. Artist's Proofs are produced alongside the main edition and are considered the most collectable impressions of a print. Printed on 300gsm fine art paper using giclée printing. Individually signed and numbered by Sam Toft. Supplied with a certificate of authenticity from publisher Collier & Dobson.
In Aid of PAPYRUS
As part of our Summer 2026 fundraising campaign in partnership with Sam Toft, The Braithwaite Gallery will donate 10% of the sale price of every Gallery Remarque to PAPYRUS — the charity dedicated to the prevention of young suicide. You don’t need to do anything; we handle the donation automatically via our JustGiving page.
We are also running a charity draw to win a remarqued edition of A Big Old Squish! — with the winning number selected by Sam Toft herself at the First and Finest Exhibition on 20th September 2026. Enter the draw here.
We are releasing one Gallery Remarque each week in the run-up to our First and Finest Exhibition on Sunday 20th September 2026, where many more remarques and special edition pieces will also be on display. Each piece released online is available to purchase now — sign up to our mailing list to be notified as each new piece becomes available, and to hear more about the exhibition.
