Anna Matyus

Artist and printmaker Anna Matyus works from her studio on the North York Moors

Inspired by historic architecture in the beautiful Yorkshire landscape, she creates stunning limited edition prints using traditional etching and collagraph printmaking techniques with a colourful palette.

In the background of the print, behind the ancient building, Anna uses intricate motifs, symbols and patterns found in artefacts from the site's heritage.

The Braithwaite Gallery is delighted to be exhibiting Anna's work, and hope that she will soon add a York inspired etching to her heritage series!
