Doris the Jack Russell is nearly there, Stripes the Cat is holding on, Roger the Sausage Dog is doing his best, and Rover the Goldfish is along for the ride. It is one of Sam’s most joyful and character-packed compositions — a celebration of adventure, companionship, and the particular optimism of setting off without quite knowing where you’re going.

From a main edition of 395 prints + 40 Artist’s Proofs. Individually signed and numbered by Sam, supplied with a certificate of authenticity from Collier & Dobson.
We have handled many remarques over the years — this is among the finest we have ever seen. Rather than a single sketch, Sam has added multiple individual remarques across the print — each one a tiny original drawing in its own right, wadding to the narrative with extraordinary care and detail.
