Waiting For Mr Cool – Sam Toft
The ice cream van has a sign in the window: Back in 5 mins. And so they wait. Mr Mustard and a wonderfully optimistic queue of animals — dogs of every shape, size, and level of patience — have formed an orderly (if somewhat hopeful) line, eyes fixed on the hatch, ears pricked, tails at the ready. Nobody is leaving. The ice cream will be worth it. It is quintessential Sam Toft — a perfectly observed moment of everyday anticipation, rendered with warmth, wit, and an awful lot of fur.
This giclée print on 260gsm fine art paper is presented framed in the publisher’s warm champagne block frame, ready to hang.
