The Game Is Afoot – Simon Clarke
Simon Clarke’s rounded, fluffy sheep take a delightfully woolly turn into the world of Sherlock Holmes in The Game Is Afoot. A playful nod to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s famous detective, this characterful scene invites you to look a little closer. How many Sherlock Holmes references can you spot?
Simon’s colourful cobbled streets and unmistakable sheep remind us of olde York, making his imaginative world feel right at home in our gallery in the heart of the historic city. It’s a charming choice for anyone who enjoys a little mystery with their gentle humour.
