A atmospheric, nostalgic memory of life in a northern mill town. Mum shouts ‘Tea’s Ready!’ to her son playing on the cobbled street outside. Washing dries on the line in the yard outside, beneath a grey smoky sky. A splash of colour against the grey is provided by little Jimmy’s hand knitted tank top.
