This piece of artwork shows the River Ouse at its most atmospheric. It is a dark wintry evening and snow lies on the ground and on the branches of the trees which line the path on both banks of the river. The row of street lamps casts light on the still water creating beautiful reflections and a feeling of warmth despite the season.
