Sea Time Tea Time a limited edition by gallery favourite, Sam Toft.
Mr Ernest Hemingway Mustard is treating his good lady wife Violet (and of course Doris the Jack Russell) to afternoon tea and cake. On a rowing boat of course (why ever not?). Violet's best stripy tea pot has been brought out for the occasion. Love is in the air - as are lots of seagulls.
Selling on behalf of a private collector - the current owner is reluctantly selling, wanting to re-home the pictures somewhere they will be appreciated and loved. Were better to bring them than The Braithwaite Gallery in York, northern home of all things Tofty for more than two decades, and Sam’s biggest fans!
Published by Collier & Dobson, the edition size of Sea Time Tea Time is 395 fine art limited edition prints plus 40 artist's proofs. This is edition 80 of 395, hand signed and numbered by Sam. The print is mounted in an off white mount with a v-groove decorative detail. A certificate of authenticity is attached to the back of the frame.
Image size 40x30cm, outer mount dimensions 58.7x47cm, framed in a distressed soft champagne coloured cube shaped moulding with black outer edge. The print appears to be good condition (nb: we have not removed it from the frame to investigate further). The edges and corners of the frame have some marks.
