His bicycle pulls a trailer at the front and another at the back, both generously filled with dogs — and for those who couldn’t quite fit, there is always room on his knee. Stripes the cat, naturally, has claimed the front seat and shows no sign of giving it up. Rainbow Riders follows this magnificent convoy along a road lined with lollipop trees in every colour imaginable, the sort that could only exist in Sam Toft’s world and that you rather wish existed in yours.
It is a painting full of forward motion and good cheer — the kind that makes a room feel brighter the moment it goes up on the wall.
Limited to 150 fine art prints plus 15 artist’s proofs, printed on 300gsm fine art paper. Each print is individually signed and numbered by Sam and supplied with a certificate of authenticity from publisher Collier & Dobson.
Mounted in a conservation-quality off-white mount with v-groove detail, and supplied acetate-wrapped.
