Sam Toft has self-published a set of 8 beautiful full-colour prints featuring brand new designs from her October 2025 show, Moments of Wonder. Available exclusively from Sam herself and here at The Braithwaite Gallery in York.
Sam is a great animal lover and includes her furry friends in nearly all her images. Here we see a traditional red phone box, fondly referred to by its cockney slang name of ‘dog and bone’. Doris, the little black and white dog who appears on most images, a striped ginger cat, a Dalmatian and a sausage dog are waiting patiently and expectantly outside.
Printed on thick white art paper with an image size of approximately 25 × 25cm, each print features a small white border and a printed pencil signature, and is accompanied by a charming miniature card of the artwork.
Gallery Remarque
After our Meet the Artist event on 20 September 2026, Sam stayed a little longer at The Braithwaite Gallery to create something special for our customers. She added a remarque — an original pencil illustration of Mr Mustard and Doris, drawn by hand directly onto the mount — to a selection of our Moments of Wonder prints. The same charming design features across these remarques, each individually drawn and hand-signed by Sam, bringing a little more of her much-loved characters into your home.
To share a little of that kindness, we will also make a donation to charity for each Gallery Remarque sold.
