In this image we see two buildings standing side by side with signs hanging out in opposite directions shaped like fish. In between them stands a street lamp and, in the distance, a lighthouse perched on a rock. The sea is calm and glistens with reflected light creating a beautifully gentle whilst pleasingly quirky image. Gary’s use of a limited palette of colours makes his paintings distinctive and instantly recognisable.
