Time and Tide – Gary Walton
An orange fishing boat rests on the sand beside a timber harbour wall, its masts tilting gently as the tide retreats. Along the quayside, a row of colourful wonky cottages cluster together — pink, blue, teal and rust — their mismatched rooflines and chimney pots reaching skyward. On a rocky headland to the left, an ornate clock tower stands watch, its face glowing warmly, while a gas lamp curves over the harbour wall and soft grey-blue clouds drift above. Unhurried, characterful, and quintessentially Gary Walton.
