Here red double decker buses travel across Lendal Bridge and Ouse Bridge, with Skeldergate Bridge and Clifford’s Tower visible in the background.
Jim’s contemporary cityscapes with bold colours and linear detail inspired by industrial architecture are instantly recognisable.
We fell in love with Jim’s work a few years ago and asked him to paint some York images for us. Jim and our own Mark Braithwaite spent an enjoyable day wandering the city with their cameras looking for ideas - we are thrilled with the results.
This is a limited edition giclee print on watercolour paper, and has been double mounted to approximately 57x70cm.
