Peter Brook, RBA 1927-2009
Peter was known as 'The Pennine Landscape painter.' He included himself and his dog in many of his images.
His images are delightful in their simplicity and innocence. Here we have a lone man and his dog taking a walk in a wood on a snowy day. The naked trees create a tunnel along the path and create the feeling of the silence and calm of a daily routine.
