An elderly couple lean in from either side of a floral tablecloth, attending to their tea — while the dog sits proudly at the table between them, very much considering himself an equal guest. The room is a treasure trove of cosy detail: a mantelpiece clock, a Tiffany lamp, a holiday painting above the fireplace, floral wallpaper, and pink curtains. Anyone who has ever shared a home with a dog who refuses to be left out will recognise this scene immediately.

About Dotty Earl
Dotty was born and grew up on the Wirral, and was drawn to art from a young age — going on to study at Wirral Metropolitan College before earning a degree in Film and Animation at the University of Humberside. She spent many years as a digital artist and animator in the computer games industry, illustrating novels and designing artwork for clothing lines along the way.
Dotty now lives in a small Yorkshire village, where her love of painting bright, colourful characters — created to make people smile — continues to grow.
