The water is perfectly still, a setting sun casting its warm glow across the bay as a ship sits moored quietly in the foreground. On a sandbank behind it, Gary's beloved quirky little houses cluster together in that wonderfully improbable way — and out to sea, a lighthouse stands on a solitary rock, keeping its faithful watch. It's a scene of complete coastal calm, full of warmth and gentle humour.
