Amanda has created this wonderful image by incorporating the spines of a large selection of well-known and classic books that have been enjoyed for decades by children and young adults. Authors and titles include Jacqueline Wilson, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Lewis Carroll, Winnie the Pooh, Pippi Longstocking, Roald Dahl, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Enid Blyton.
Set against a vibrant jade green background, we see our reader sitting atop a pile of books engrossed in a copy of Eloise. She wears a white skirt, red and pink striped tights and turquoise boots decorated with daisies.
