Silent Night Study, The Museum Gardens, York by Mark Braithwaite
This beautiful view of the archway between St Olaves Church and St Mary's Lodge, leading out of The Museum Gardens onto Marygate is often missed as it is surrounded by grander architecture. Covered with a sprinkling of snow in a darkening twilight, it's a striking sight.
Have you spotted Lucy, Mark's black cat, who hides in most of his York scenes?
A new addition to Mark's atmostpheric Silent Night Series, this time worked in watercolour.
The Silent Night Studies have been printed as a limited edition on watercolour paper, and are available mounted in black or in cream.
