A delightfully nostalgic literary themed book cover art print from Amanda's Girls on Books series.
Amanda tells us her inspiration comes from her love of books, many of which are personal favourites, and striped tights and big boots. She has created this wonderful image by incorporating the spines of a selection of classic titles including The Lord of the Rings, Milly Molly Mandy, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Pippi Longstocking, The Wind in the Willows and James and the Giant Peach.
Set against a taupe background, we see our reader sitting atop her pile of books reading a copy of her favourite tale. She is wearing a turquoise skirt, black and white striped tights and her brand new red shoes.
This colourful limited edition print would make a wonderful gift for any child who loves reading - or indeed any adult who wants to revisit the pleasure that childhood hours spent reading brought them.
