York, Within the Walls by Linda Mellin

An original acrylic painting on paper, by Yorkshire Life Landscape Artist of the Year 2017, and Fine Art Trade Guild Best Up and Coming Artist 2022, Linda Mellin.

Can you spot The Braithwaites on the Gallery step? Also featured from Petergate is The Lamb and Lion, with famous suits of armour outside; from Stonegate, The Punchbowl, the House of Trembling Madness and Little Bettys; and from The Shambles one of our many Harry Potter themed shops, The Shop That Must Not Be Named. 

There are also lots of York characters and memories - did you spot the Archbishop and choristers, Vikings and Romans, buskers and street performers, horse drawn carriage rides and even Le Tour cyclists?

 What else can you spot?

The framed original painting measures approximately 81x47cm, with an image size of approximately 53x19cm. Mounted and framed behind glass, in an angled white wooden frame.

All of Linda's work is mounted and framed by her son Duncan, from his framing workshop in the Dales.

Frames can only be shipped via courier on a fragile service.
