From the Shadows; Flower Fairies - Down with the Trumpets by Mark Braithwaite
An addition to Mark Braithwaite's From the Shadows series - flower fairies collect nectar from the trumpets of daffodils beneath a pink sky.
Following on from the success of his 'Zombie Apocalypse' series, Gallery Resident Artist Mark Braithwaite has expanded the range to create the 'From the Shadows' collection, of other supernatural beings and mystical happenings. York is the most haunted city in Europe after all, so he's not short of inspiration!
Mark tells us "This is the latest in my fun series of spooky illustrations, 'From the Shadows' painted in watercolour and mixed media. In the sky I have used Schminke Horadam Supergranulation watercolours which made the unusual skies happen, and Opal paint, which create an iridescent effect."
The mount size is 40x40cm; the painting has been mounted in a white mount with a black core, in a black frame.
