In this image Gary gives us two orange and blue tug boats, one large and one small, both moored atop rocks. On the pier to the right stands a row of tall, thin buildings which are so distinctive of Gary’s style -being instantly recognisable and bringing a sense of humour. In the background to the left stands a white lighthouse on top of a rock. The sea is calm and the shadow of the moon can be seen amongst the peach and grey sky.
Gary’s use of his usual restricted colour palette makes this image instantly recognisable and brings with it a sense of calm and serenity.
