Baa Baa of Fleece Street – Simon Clarke
Simon Clarke gives Sweeney Todd’s familiar tale a wonderfully woolly twist. Beneath the barber’s striped pole, rounded sheep gather outside the warmly lit shops of Fleece Street, while the neighbouring pie-shop windows offer plenty to catch your eye. How many references can you spot?
With its old-fashioned shopfronts and cobbled street, this characterful scene reminds us of olde York. The miniature brings that quirky charm to a smaller corner of your home, with a white mount giving the scene room to shine.
