A luminous nocturne looking along the South Bank Embankment towards St Paul’s Cathedral, its great dome glowing white across the Thames against a sky of deep crimson and amber. Dolphin lamp posts line the path, their warm light catching the autumn leaves scattered underfoot and shimmering in the river below, with Blackfriars Bridge arching softly through the haze beyond.
