King of the Castle by YorkArtist's resident artist Mark Braithwaite
"King of the Castle" - A snowy winter's day on the North York Moors above Kirkby Moorside inspired this unusual scene.
After a morning of blizzard conditions, the sun came out and revealed this group of sheep, huddled around bales of hay with the king of the castle stood defiantly on top!
"King of the Castle" has been reproduced in both giclee and lithograph formats:
Giclee Special Edition: printed onto watercolour paper using the Giclee process. Each has been hand signed in pencil by artist M.J. Braithwaite. Presented in a hand bevel cut 24" x 16" double mount, assembled using conservation tape to protect your print.
"King of the Castle" has been reproduced using the offset litho process on art card. Available presented in a 12" x 18" antique mount; each print has been personally hand signed by artist M.J. Braithwaite.
