From the Shadows; Hunters Moon, The Witching Hours by Mark Braithwaite. Nymph-like witches and skeletons dance with broomsticks under the light of the Hunters Moon; casting a spell, watched over by familiar black cats and owls.
Following on from the success of his 'Zombie Apocalypse' series, Gallery Resident Artist Mark Braithwaite has expanded the range to create the 'From the Shadows' collection, of other supernatural beings and mystical happenings. York is the most haunted city in Europe after all, so he's not short of inspiration!
Mark tells us "This is the latest in my fun series of ghostly illustrations, 'From the Shadows' painted in watercolour and mixed media. In the sky I have used Schminke Horadam Supergranulation watercolours which made the unusual skies happen!"
There are now lots of images in Mark’s From the Shadows series - why not take a look at the entire collection as there's a multi buy offer!
Each image is printed as a giclée on watercolour paper, image size approximately 17x17cm, and presented in an antique white 30x30cm mount. A larger version is available in a 40x40cm black mount.
These mounts will fit into metric standard size frames - take a look at our framing section for ideas. Frame shown is black linear.
