Bluebird at Bonneville

by Jack Vettriano

Open Edition poster print

Paper size: 500x700mm

Please note that all unframed poster prints have JACK VETTRIANO printed on the white border.

Bluebird is one of a series of paintings inspired by the life and achievements of Sir Malcolm Campbell, who gained the world land speed record at various times during the 1920’s and 1930’s.

The paintings were originally commissioned by Sir Terence Conran for his Bluebird Club in London.

In August 2007, Bluebird at Bonneville, was sold at Sotheby’s for in excess of £600,000, the second highest price ever achieved for a Vettriano at auction.

This picture features the iconic Bluebird car on the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, on the occasion of Malcolm Campbell’s final World Land Speed record in 1935.

Bluebird makes a fabulous pair with Jack's Pendine Beach print.

This print will fit a standard metric frame size - we do stock frames to fit this picture. Please contact the gallery for information on framing.

The Braithwaite Gallery is an official dealer for Jack Vettriano artwork - we stock miniature prints, larger open editions and signed limited editions.
