Bluebird at Bonneville by Jack Vettriano
From The Vettriano Collection of small mounted prints.
The original Bluebird painting was part of a series of paintings commissioned by Sir Terence Conran for his Bluebird Club in London. The series was inspired by the life of Sir Malcolm Campbell, holder of the world land speed record in the 1920s and 30s. Here, Campbell and his racing car, Bluebird, have broken the record at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah.
