From Dotty Earl's Dotty Doodles series. A lady in a chef's hat, green top and floral apron stands at a gingham-clothed kitchen table, wooden spoon in hand, deep in concentration. The blue and white striped mixing bowl is unmistakably of an era — the kind that lived in every kitchen and never got thrown away. On the other side of the table, her white dog has quietly climbed onto a chair and has its nose in the bowl. Yellow floral wallpaper, a wall-mounted cupboard, hanging utensils and a kettle on the hob complete the scene. He knows exactly what's going to be baking in that oven. He always does.

About Dotty Earl
Dotty was born and grew up on the Wirral, and was drawn to art from a young age — going on to study at Wirral Metropolitan College before earning a degree in Film and Animation at the University of Humberside. She spent many years as a digital artist and animator in the computer games industry, illustrating novels and designing artwork for clothing lines along the way.
Dotty now lives in a small Yorkshire village, where her love of painting bright, colourful characters — created to make people smile — continues to grow.
