An Apple a Day – Anthony Marn
A tiny mouse sits beside a towering, well-nibbled red apple core, holding a morsel between its paws. On a rustic wooden ledge against a deep, dark background, soft light catches its whiskers, pink ears and textured fur. This endearing little character brings a quiet storytelling charm to the painting, as though we have caught the little culprit enjoying its feast.
For anyone with a soft spot for mice and their mischievous ways, this little scene is full of character.
An Apple a Day is an original oil painting on board by Anthony Marn, presented in a soft grey scoop-profile frame.
A Hidden Mouse Remarque
There is another little mouse to discover on the reverse of the frame: Anthony has drawn a tiny remarque in pencil, a personal finishing touch from the artist. Hidden from view when the painting is displayed, it is a lovely extra detail for its owner to enjoy.
