Ambling Around – Simon Clarke
Ambleside’s famous Bridge House gets the full Simon Clarke treatment, with his wonderfully fluffy sheep making themselves quite at home. Warm light spills from the windows of the little stone building, lanterns glow beside the water, and a sheep settles on a bench as though it has nowhere more important to be.
Inspired by Simon and Jo’s Northern adventure in 2024, this is a joyful celebration of one of the Lake District’s most charming landmarks. Perched improbably over Stock Ghyll, Bridge House has been delighting visitors for centuries. Now it has sheep. We think it’s an improvement.
