A stunning coastal limited edition by one of our most popular artists, Gary Walton.
Gary's whimsical world has a fantasy feel with a twist of reality. In this delightful image, which is very typical of Gary’s style, we see a pier filled with a row of his signature tall, thin buildings and an orange and black tugboat moored beside. A little out to sea there is a quirky lighthouse which resembles an old gas lamp standing on stilts and, in the distance on the horizon, a larger boat sailing out to sea.
Gary uses a limited palette of colours which complement each other beautifully and create a colourful and yet at the same time beautifully calm coastal scene.
Limited to 150 fine art limited edition prints + 15 artist proofs, 'The Gaslamp’' is available close-framed.
Printed on 400gsm fine art canvas, each print is then bonded to 3.5mm board and varnished to replicate the look and feel of an original painting. This is called block mounting. Each print is individually signed and numbered by Gary and supplied with a certificate of authenticity.
The framed print is close framed in a 7.5cm wide white moulding. Supplied strung and ready to hang.
