This stunning laser cut artwork of a guarding fox, set against a beautifully intricate background of leaves and sprigs, is taken from an original paper cut by paper artist Anna Cook, one of the gallery’s resident artists. These are limited edition prints of only 100 which have been hand signed by the artist. The print is presented in a textured snow white circular mount.

About the artist
Papercutting is a really labour intensive practice that requires an enormous amount of concentration and a steady hand. With a bit of patience it produces beautiful results, backache, and a touch of eye strain - I love it!
Over the years I’ve found Foxes, Hares and Blackbirds to be amongst my favourite subjects to work on, but I also make other wildlife like Crows and Mice.
All my work starts out life as a unique paper cut. The originals are cut by hand using a sharp scalpel, and are one off designs. The originals are then scanned and laser cut , which are hand finished to produce mounted open edition prints or limited edition prints.
