This year is whizzing by - I'm sure we will all be glad to see the back of 2020, so here's Sam Toft's 2021 calendar so you can plan something better for next year!
Each calendar measures 30x30cm, and is packed with the usual quantity of Sam's delightful artwork.
I know there are LOTS of calendars in the photo - ten shiny pounds will buy you ONE :-)
Sam Toft's 2021 Meet the Mustards Calendar
The back reads (with thanks to Sam for letting us tell you the story of the Mustards):
Ernest Hemmingway Mustard lives on the Brighton Hove border in a not-so-damp basement flat, with his dear lady wife Violet, Doris - a portly Jack Russell Terrier, an orange stripy cat, and a fish called Rover. They will occasionally let a room to Audrey the sheep, the McWerter duck family, Hattie the Dalmatian, Roger the Sausage Dog.... In fact, you could say they provide a regular home from home for many dear waifs and strays.
Sam Toft lives by the sea in a tall white house with her two dogs Betty and Stan. A quiet seaside studio is her luxury: somewhere to retreat from the real world and to create another that can sometimes make more sense. A world of simple pleasures and seaside adventures. Where the wind is always blowing, the friends are imaginary and there's always sand in somebody's sandwiches.
