PRICING
All goods on YorkArtist are priced in Pounds Sterling (£), and are inclusive of relevant UK taxes at the prevailing rate. For international deliveries, the customer is solely responsible for payment of any of any local import duties and/or taxes.
We accept payment by Cash, Cheque in Pounds Sterling (£) (drawn on a UK bank), PayPal and all major credit and debit cards. Card details are collected using PayPal's SSL secured server, or should you prefer, we can contact you by telephone to collect card details. All goods remain the property of YorkArtist.com until payment in full has been received.
SHIPPING
Your order will be confirmed by telephone or e-mail upon receipt. All completed orders will be well packaged and dispatched via Royal Mail standard service with Proof of Posting within seven days. If any delay in despatch occurs you will be notified immediately. For current shipping rates, see below.
An insured delivery option via courier is now available to UK mainland destinations (excludes Highlands and Islands).
If you prefer a Priority, Courier or Insured Service, please indicate this when placing your order and we will confirm a shipping price. Priority services can be tracked using our courier's or Royal Mail's "Track and Trace" delivery system. We recommend Insured Services for Limited Editions and expensive items which are often irreplaceable.
Please advise us if you do not receive your delivery within 14 days of placing your order and we will pursue a claim with the Post Office. Overseas orders please allow 28 days.
SHIPPING RATES
Shipping via Royal Mail's Standard Service with Proof of Posting is complimentary on orders of unframed prints over £175. Please specify if you wish your order to be insured, and we will confirm a price.

FRAMED PRINTS can be shipped to UK mainland destinations via courier - please check for service availability.
CANVAS PRINTS on STRETCHERS can only be shipped to UK addresses; for international destinations, due to size restrictions, canvases can only be shipped without the stretcher bars.
RETURNS
We try to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your purchase and all orders are carefully checked before being dispatched. However, items can occasionally be damaged in transit, be defective or are unacceptable. Please contact us immediately in these circumstances and we will endeavour to rectify the situation.
If the goods have been damaged in transit or are defective, please contact us within 2 days of receipt. Please retain the packaging material and we will arrange to have them returned and your order replaced at no additional cost to you.
Goods which are not damaged or defective that you simply wish to return may be returned within 10 days at your own expense. You will receive a refund in full less the delivery cost provided the goods are returned undamaged. Please contact us before returning them so that we can give you a reference number for your refund.
CANCELLATIONS
Orders may be cancelled by telephone within 24 hours of submission.
COMPLAINTS
We endeavour to acknowledge all complaints within 5 working days. We will advise you of how long it will take to resolve the complaint and keep you informed throughout the process.
PRIVACY
We recognise the importance of protecting your privacy and will not pass your details on to any other parties, other than for the purposes of processing and delivering your order.
Payment details are made on the separate secure PayPal website. By using their service, you agree to their separate Privacy Policy, which can be viewed on the PayPal website.
When you purchase an artist's work from YorkArtist.com, you automatically subscribe to an e-newsletter for that artist. This information is used exclusively to send you information about the artist you have expressed an interest in.
There is also the opportunity on artist's pages to subscribe to their e-newsletter.

LAW and JURISDICTION
The Contract shall be deemed to be made in England. All Contracts made between YorkArtist and the Customer shall be governed by the laws of England and any dispute arising therein shall be subject to the sole jurisdiction of the English courts.
Your Statutory Rights are not affected by the Terms of Business on this page. |
