The originals are painted in oil on canvas. Many of these can be seen at The Braithwaite Gallery in York, or through publisher Buckingham Fine Art.
London is a favourite destination of Mark's; he regularly walks for miles around the city with his camera to capture the lights, London buses and taxis, the iconic landscape, and of course, his personal favourite, the red phone boxes! We feel he has truly captured the vibrancy of the city in these fantastic oils - well done Mark!
Congratulations to Mark, whose painting Piccadilly Kiss was shortlisted for The Guardian newspaper's London Lives 2011 competition. The painting was exhibited at London's prestigious Bankside Gallery from 9-18 September 2011.
