Artist MJ Braithwaite
A self-taught artist, working in watercolour, acrylic and pastel. In addition to his well known Yorkshire landscapes and cityscapes, MJ Braithwaite has been Regimental Artist for the British Army.
Working from his studio at The Braithwaite Gallery in York, a recent project is the "Lost Connection" series - studies of the Great British red telephone box set in England's beautiful countryside. The paintings have been well documented in regional newspapers and magazines, and the series continues to grow!
